Big balls finishing

The balls for big diametre valves are not ontained by brass bars but by pressing. Italsfere has established a department with two completly automated working isles producing end-products from the row products obtained through pressing. These working isles carry out drilling, milling and diamonding operations onto the balls for valves with diametres from 31 to 82 mm.
The creation of the two working isles has enormously reduced the time of manufacturing and has improved the quality of the final products.
In order to optimize manufacturing costs and thus the end-product price, balls for bigger valves are lightened for what non-essential parts concerns, according to their specific use.
Product lightening operations are thus carried out in order to reduce the use of material, and are agreed with the customer, depending on the use he / she will make of the products.
